The TigerTec TR408A is a flat-table nesting CNC router with integrated auto loading and offloading, making it a strong choice for production environments where throughput and low operational cost are priorities. The 1,300 × 2,500mm work area suits kitchen, furniture, and shopfitting manufacturers processing full or near-full sheet material with minimal manual handling.

The machine is built on an 8mm thick steel base that is rectified, stress relieved, then machined and ground as a single piece — a construction method that delivers consistent repeatability across long production runs. The steel gantry is reinforced, heat treated, and annealed to maintain geometric accuracy under sustained load.

A 9.5kW HSD ES951 spindle drives the cutting head, supported by a 12-position carousel auto tool changer and an HSD 5+4 vertical drilling unit. Tool holding is via ISO 30, and a tool length sensor is included as standard to maintain cut depth accuracy across tool changes.

Axis motion is handled by servo motors on X, Y, and Z via Shimpo planetary reducers and rack-and-pinion transmission. THK HSR25 linear rails with double wipers and seals are fitted to X and Y axes; HSR20 with the same sealing arrangement is used on Z. Positional accuracy is 0.05mm.

The worktable is a Bakelite multifunction T-slot and vacuum configuration. A 150mm dust extraction outlet with pneumatic dust hood activation is fitted as standard. The machine requires a separate air compressor with air dryer: minimum 0.3 m³/min flow rate and a 3kW motor. Power supply requirement is 415V, 63A.
