SCM Minimax CU410 C Combination Machine 1ph

Part Number SACU400C1

€9990.00

The Minimax CU 410 Classic is a cast iron universal woodworking machine combining a 410mm surfacer, thicknesser, table saw with sliding table, and spindle moulder in a single industrially rated unit. It is designed for small professional workshops, maintenance departments, and serious production environments where floor space is limited but output standards are not.

The saw accepts blades up to 315mm diameter with a belt-driven scoring unit included as standard, giving a maximum blade projection of 100mm at 90° and 78mm at 45°. The sliding carriage runs to 1,600mm stroke as standard, with extended options available to 2,250mm or 2,600mm.

The thicknesser processes stock from 3mm to 230mm in height at a feed rate of 7m/min, with a maximum single-pass removal of 4mm. The standard cutterblock is a 72mm diameter three-knife unit, with Tersa and Xylent spiral knife heads available as factory options.

The spindle moulder offers three selectable speeds — 3,500, 7,000, and 10,000rpm — and accepts tooling up to 210mm diameter. An extensive options list includes a cast iron mortiser, tenoning table, anodised aluminium spindle fence tables, and a flip-over angular cutting device with preset stops, allowing the machine to be configured precisely for the work at hand.

Net weight of the standard machine is 560kg, reflecting the cast iron construction that underpins its accuracy and rigidity throughout all four functions.

Applications: surface planing, thicknessing, rip and cross-cut sawing, spindle moulding, scoring, mortising, tenoning

Key Features:

— Four-function combination — surfacer, thicknesser, table saw, and spindle moulder — consolidates four separate machines into one cast iron unit, reducing floor space and capital outlay
— 410mm surfacing width — accommodates wide boards in a single pass without repositioning
— 1,800mm combined surfacer table length — supports long stock for accurate, controlled planing
— 72mm three-knife cutterblock as standard — provides a balanced, proven cutting geometry; upgradeable to Tersa or Xylent spiral head
— Xylent spiral knife cutterblock option (58.04.84) — reduced noise, improved surface finish, and longer effective cutting life compared to straight knife blocks
— Tersa cutterblock option (58.01.17) — rapid knife change without removal from the machine, minimising downtime between jobs
— Thicknesser capacity 3–230mm at 7m/min feed — handles a wide range of stock thicknesses at a consistent, productive feed rate
— 315mm maximum saw blade diameter with belt-driven scoring unit included — scoring unit eliminates breakout on veneered and laminated panel materials as standard
— Sliding carriage stroke of 1,600mm standard, extendable to 2,250mm or 2,600mm — accommodates sheet material and long cross-cuts; stroke can be specified at order to suit the workshop
— 100mm blade projection at 90°, 78mm at 45° — sufficient depth of cut for solid timber sections in both square and mitre configurations
— Spindle moulder with three speeds — 3,500, 7,000, and 10,000rpm — matches spindle speed to tooling diameter and material for safe, optimised cutting conditions
— Spindle moulder accepts tooling up to 210mm diameter — compatible with a wide range of profile cutters and rebating blocks
— Cast iron mortiser available as option (58.02.46) — adds a fifth machining function without requiring a separate machine
— Tenoning table and protection hood option (58.00.15) — max tool 275mm — enables accurate tenon production directly on the spindle moulder
— 560kg net weight cast iron construction — mass and material rigidity suppress vibration across all four functions, maintaining dimensional accuracy
