The Salvamac briquetting press is built around a heavy-duty load-bearing base frame and a mechanical press with die head positioned adjacent to the loading bin — a layout that keeps the footprint compact whilst supporting continuous industrial operation. The hydraulic control unit comprises solenoid valves, gear pumps, pressure plates, and circuit tubing, managed through a PLC control panel supplied at 380V 50Hz three-phase. A batching worm screw ensures homogeneous material feed, eliminating inconsistent compression and reducing die wear. The machine starts and stops immediately with no warm-up cycle required, making it suited to production environments where downtime is a cost. Powder-coated fabricated steelwork and a fully Italian-engineered design underpin the long service expectation. A range of optional ancillaries — including oil temperature and level indicators, an oil cooling system, an extruder cooling unit, and a silo inspection door — allows the press to be configured to site-specific requirements.
