The Minimax ME40T sits at the top of the Minimax edgebander range and distinguishes itself with a 9 m/min panel feed speed — the fastest in the Minimax lineup — combined with encoder-monitored panel positioning for complete cycle control. The result is a machine well suited to high-throughput production environments where consistency and output rate are both critical.
The glue system is engineered for reliability across extended production runs. Resistances heat the glue rapidly and evenly, whilst an automatic temperature reduction during production halts prevents glue burning. A self-lubricating glue pot reduces maintenance intervals, and the internal resistance in the glue spreading roller maintains a uniform application temperature even at maximum panel height. Both standard EVA and polyurethane glue configurations are available, with rapid-release pot mechanisms offered as an option.
The end-trimming unit features a radius end-cut function, producing finished corners directly from the machine without requiring manual finishing by hand. This is a meaningful productivity gain on finished-panel work where edge quality is visible.
The control panel is front-mounted and PLC-guided, directing operators through machining, maintenance, and diagnostic routines. Individual operating units can be switched on and off independently from the panel, reducing unnecessary running time and wear.
The ME40T supports a configurable accessory specification, with optional finishing units including edge scraper, glue scraper, buffing unit, and grooving unit — allowing the machine to be specified to the demands of the application rather than over- or under-equipped from the outset.
