The Minimax ME35T is a fully automatic edge banding machine distinguished by its special end-cutting unit with integrated radius function — standard on this model — which rounds the front and rear corners of edge-banded panels in a single pass, eliminating a secondary operation. It handles melamine, PVC, and ABS edges up to 3 mm thick, and solid wood strips up to 5 mm, making it suitable for a wide range of panel materials and edge types.

Control is via the eye-S 10" system with a touchscreen HMI (Maestro Active Edge), which provides graphical simulation of the machining sequence for each panel side, on-screen diagnostics, and selection of first or second pass without reprogramming. The machine is pre-set for network connection and Industry 4.0 integration via API REST data exchange protocol.

The glue pot unit features a Teflon-coated interior for straightforward glue replacement, automatic recovery of unused glue, and automatic temperature reduction during periods of non-use. A rapid-substitution kit is available, incorporating a dual thermoregulation system to support two working temperatures — accommodating polyurethane adhesives alongside standard hot-melt.

The infeed panel edge trimming unit is fitted as standard, ensuring a clean joint line before the edge is applied. End cutting is performed by a high-frequency motor unit, with the radius-cutting function controlled directly from the panel. When processing solid wood, the radius unit defaults to a straight cut.
