Minimax CU410 ES Combination Machine

The SCM Minimax CU 410 E S is a large-capacity combined universal woodworking machine from the Elite range, integrating a surfacer planer, thicknesser, circular saw, and spindle moulder in a single unit built to professional workshop standards.

The planer and thicknesser unit features SCM's exclusive parallelogram worktable movement system with simultaneous table raising, and the thicknesser table is supported on four columns to maintain precision across the full 410 mm working width. Feeding is available at two speeds — 7 and 14 m/min — with a maximum stock removal of 5 mm and a work height range of 3 to 240 mm.

The circular saw unit accepts a 315 mm blade with the scoring saw mounted, rising to 350 mm without. The independent scoring saw motor — absent on lesser machines — ensures clean, chip-free cuts on veneered panels without compromising cutting capacity on solid timber. Carriage stroke is 2,320 mm with a cutting width of 1,000 mm at the parallel fence.

The spindle moulder offers four speed settings from 1,400 to 8,000 rpm and accepts tooling up to 230 mm for moulding and 275 mm for tenoning, with three 120 mm dust extraction outlets. All operator positions are equipped with Start-Stop pushbuttons, fixed handwheels, and graduated readouts for repeatable positioning.
