Casadei E350PM Compact Premilling Edgebander
Part Number CSE350PM
€13250.00
The Casadei E350 is a PLC-controlled compact edgebander with an integrated pre-milling unit — a capability that distinguishes it from entry-level machines and ensures a clean, square substrate edge before gluing, directly improving bond quality and finished appearance.
The gluing system uses a Teflon-coated glue pot fitted with six electrical heating elements distributed across the pot, turret, and spreading roller for consistent glue temperature throughout the application zone. Glue pot capacity is 1 kg, with a heat-up time of 14–16 minutes from ambient and 4–6 minutes from standby.
The pre-milling unit runs two high-frequency motors at 2 × 0.75 kW, with diamond cutterblocks of ⌀60 × 50 mm and a tool rotation speed of 12,000 rpm, removing up to 2 mm of material per pass. The flush trimming unit operates at 11,000 rpm (50 Hz) and accepts Z4 ⌀75 mm cutterblocks, with combined radius 2 mm and bevel capability guided by vertical disc copiers.
The 1,800 mm working table is fitted with seven adjustable rollers and Polizene sliding fences, with an extensible front support for large panels. Panel feed is driven by a steel-core toothed belt, and the three-position infeed fence accommodates edge thicknesses of 0, 1, or 2 mm.
This stock machine is supplied with a glue scraping unit (LORSCL) for removing excess adhesive at the panel-to-edge joint, and a buffing unit (LOSPA3) fitted with two independent 0.13 kW motors at 1,400 rpm for polishing plastic edges.
Applications: edgebanding, pre-milling, panel processing, cabinet making, shopfitting, furniture manufacture
Key Features:
— Integrated pre-milling unit — 2 × 0.75 kW HF motors, ⌀60 × 50 mm diamond cutterblocks at 12,000 rpm — removes up to 2 mm from the panel edge prior to gluing, ensuring a clean substrate bond without a separate machining operation
— Six-element Teflon-coated glue pot — elements distributed across pot, turret, and spreading roller — maintains uniform glue temperature throughout the application zone, reducing cold spots and inconsistent adhesion
— Motorised glue spreading roller with thermostatic control and automatic standby — regulates glue viscosity and reduces waste during production pauses, with a 4–6 minute recovery from standby
— PLC control with LED-illuminated unit selection buttons and onboard diagnostic system — enables rapid fault identification and simplifies operator intervention without specialist programming knowledge
— Statistical data logging — total machine hours, cumulative and partial edge metres consumed — supports maintenance scheduling and materials costing directly from the control panel
— Three-position infeed fence — 0, 1, and 2 mm settings — accommodates varying edge band thicknesses without additional tooling changes
— Pneumatic end trimming unit with follow-up system, front and rear — trims both leading and trailing edges in a single pass; unit can be excluded from the control panel when not required
— Flush trimming unit — 11,000 rpm (50 Hz), Z4 ⌀75 mm cutterblocks with combined radius 2 mm and bevel — profiles the top and bottom edges in one pass using vertical disc copiers with numeric indicators for repeatable setup
— 1,800 mm working table with seven adjustable rollers and Polizene sliding fences — provides stable panel support across a wide range of panel sizes whilst minimising surface marking
— Extensible front panel support with Polizene sliding fences — accommodates large-format panels without the need for external outfeed tables during infeed
— Steel-core toothed belt panel feed system — delivers consistent feed force and positional accuracy, reducing slippage on dense or heavy panels
— LORSCL glue scraping unit — included with this stock machine — removes excess adhesive at the panel-to-edge joint without manual finishing, improving throughput and surface quality
— LOSPA3 buffing unit — two independent 0.13 kW motors at 1,400 rpm, included with this stock machine — polishes plastic edge bands to a finished appearance as part of the same pass, eliminating a secondary operation
