Casadei E350 Compact Edgebander

The Casadei E350 is a PLC-controlled compact edgebander engineered for consistent, repeatable results across a range of panel sizes and edge materials. Its Teflon-coated glue pot with six electrical heating elements — four in the pot, one in the turret, and one in the glue-spreading roller — ensures stable glue temperature and rapid cleaning between runs.

The optional pre-milling group (E350 PM) features diamond cutterblocks driven by two high-frequency motors with integrated chipping collection, preparing panel edges to a precise finish before gluing. A three-position infeed fence (0, 1, and 2 mm) accommodates varying edge thicknesses without complex mechanical adjustment.

Edge feeding is synchronised with panel travel to guarantee consistent adhesion. The automatic front and rear end trimmers operate on a follow-up system and can be disconnected from the control panel; no mechanical regulation is required, delivering absolute positional accuracy. Flush trimming is carried out by Z4 ø75 mm cutterblocks fitted with Widia disposable knives offering a combined straight, 2 mm radius, and bevel profile.

A front extensible support with Polizene sliding fences accommodates large panels, whilst the diagnostic system provides real-time operational messages and maintenance prompts alongside statistical data including total machine hours and edge consumption by metre.
